The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) is the world's largest organization exclusively dedicated to finding a cause and cure for lupus.

Our Mission: To educate and support those affected by lupus and find the cure.

The LFA was incorporated as a nonprofit health agency in 1977. The purpose of the LFA is to assist local chapters in their efforts to provide supportive services to individuals living with lupus, to educate the public about lupus, to assist in advocacy programs, and to support research into the causes and cure of lupus. Each year hundreds of thousands of people receive service from the LFA and its network of Chapters.
