Ten
Helpful Hints on Saving Energy
Try to balance periods
of activity and rest.
Too much of either is not good. Frequent short rest periods
are better than a single one and lying down to rest is better
than sitting.
Be sure to get enough sleep at night.
Work at a slow steady
pace. Allow enough time to do the job.
Avoid stairs whenever possible and plan errands so you can go to
more than one place in the same general locality on a single
trip.
Distribute your work
evenly throughout the day. If you do too
much on one day you will be too tired to do anything for hours
or days.
Be organized and plan
ahead for your work.
Store your items where
they are to be used.
Eliminate any
unnecessary work.
Sit to work whenever
possible.
Avoid strenuous
activity. Don't start anything you can't finish
and don't try to do a two-man job.
And last but not
least, be open-minded. You must be willing to make
small changes in your lifestyle so you can control your fatigue.
Learn to set priorities....
